Student First Aid

The nationally regulated first aid qualification for secondary school students

This course has been designed to fully meet the requirements set by the Department for Education in respect of first aid training for children aged 11 and over. The Department for Education recommends that secondary school students should be taught how to administer CPR, the purpose of defibrillators, and basic treatments for common injuries. Students will attain a nationally regulated qualification, enhance their CV in preparation for the workplace or further education, and develop valuable new life skills.

Essential first aid skills for parents and carers

This practical 2-hour workshop has been designed specifically for parents and carers who want to feel confident and prepared in a first aid emergency. Covering the most common situations you may face at home or in a caring environment, this accessible and jargon-free session gives you the knowledge and hands-on skills to act quickly and calmly when it matters most.

First Aid for Mental Health

Supporting mental health and wellbeing in the workplace

Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition — whether themselves, a family member, friend, or colleague. This course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help employers provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace. Learners will gain comprehensive knowledge of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to act should a condition be suspected. Those who complete this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and act as a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.

Basic Life Support & Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator

The complete hands-on AED and resuscitation qualification

Ideal for anyone who may be required to use an AED in the workplace or community setting, this highly practical course gives learners the confidence and competence to operate a defibrillator and perform basic life support. It is suitable across all industries and environments where an AED is present on site.

A fun, practical introduction to first aid for children

This is a basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11, though it can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no confusing terminology, showing complete respect for the child's ability. It is fun, educational, practical, and instils the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.
